Yes, the best electrician is a licensed electrician. Our license number is TECL#34022 and we can provide you with a COI for all businesses requiring one.
Handymen are awesome and can get a lot done at a good price but electrical can be dangerous if not handled properly. Licensed electricians, specifically journeyman electricians, are require to have hours of on the job training and have to pass a test requiring them to know NEC code. NEC code is there to protect not just the electrician but the customer and property as well. Handymen are great for certain non-licensed projects but when it comes to electrical, use a qualified licensed electrician.
